WHAT IS
Actualizing Therapy ?
TM
Actualizing Therapy is a therapeutic system founded by Dr. Everett L. Shostrom, which is based on the principle that each human being is a unique person seeking fulfillment. The way to reach this fulfillment is to educate the potential within.
T Life practices Actualizing Therapy by illustrating how our clients’ past impacts their present. Through empathy and accountability, we expedite self-actualization – moving towards humanness, not perfection. Our clients fully explore the depths of their weaknesses, so they can fully appreciate their own strengths. Self-actualization is an ongoing process that incorporates the past and the future but focuses on moment-to-moment growth.

T Life Help Me?
HOW DOES
As an actualizing couple, my wife and I primarily mentor women who are currently working with a therapist to help them better apply the techniques discussed in therapy – particularly in the face of challenges or challenging individuals. We have found that combining therapy and mentorship accelerates the path to self-actualization; however, we have also found that Actualizing Therapy alone leads to fulfillment and we accept clients who are not in therapy on a case-by-case basis.
As Illustrators, we have worked with licensed therapists who have expressed that one of their biggest frustrations is not being able to observe how their patients actionably incorporate therapy in their lives. To that end, we meet each client in their everyday life to discern who they are actually, not just audibly. T Life illustrates problem areas such as the narcissistic man as well as areas demanding personal accountability.
Our clients’ privacy as well as our own is of the utmost importance and together we create a highly personalized approach with each individual. As Illustrators, we are here to be friends with purpose. We are here to help our clients see truth, break patterns, and embrace authenticity.

Our Goal
is to modernize psychotherapy and make it more useful, mindful, and impactful for women by illustrating their journey to self-actualization.

WHY DID
You Start T Life?
My mother, Patricia. Her quiet leadership and rhythmic presence steadied me through the unpredictable flows of life. From her I learned authenticity, compassion, and perseverance. Her passing at the age of 51 from breast cancer left me searching for direction. Our friendship as mother and son set the foundation for me to self-actualize, creating the path for me to develop into the husband, father, and Illustrator that I am today.
I love you mom.
